AFCAT and SSB TRAINING

ADMISSION:Aspirants are requested to apply for admission either by on line r by visiting our Academy and paying an advance fee of is 100/-
This is adjustable as admission fee but not refundable.
Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.
Academy has a hostel where in you can seek admission. Students coming from outside can reach the Institution anytime & accommodation will be provided. Students reaching Coimbatore by train can hire a call taxi or an auto to Defence Academy Coimbatore, This is about 8 km from Rly station.
Buses from RLy station fly at an interval of 40 mins

AFCAT For IAF Entrance (written exams):-

Candidates are properly trained in objective tests to face the exam with confidence.
Full syllabus is covered. We provide notes as well as extra study material pertaining to the syllabus
that helps the candidates in knowing the standard of the papers set and its gives them an distinctive edge
over other competitors by giving them the concise to the point notes.
Plus weekly tests are conducted so as to know and test the performances of each candidate as to how are they performing,
as the session goes on. The classrooms are fitted with audio-visual tools for the betterment of the candidates.Hostel and messing facility are present within the campus for the ease of the candidates.

AFCAT COACHING

1.AFCAT is a common recruitment exam conducted by IAF (Indian Air Force) every year in the month of March &
August, exam notification for which comes out in the months of December/January and June/July every year.
The March exam of any year is conducted for the training course that would commence from January next year.
While for the August exam, the course commences from July next year.
It is called a Common Admission Test as it is conducted for all three branches of Indian Air Force.
i.e. Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branches in a single exam.
EXT test of about 30 minutes will be administered to Tech branch aspirants

SCHEME OF SYLLABUS COVERED IN THE EXAM

1.The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each.
For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking.
The total time allotted for the paper is two hours.Topics covered in the exams would be:-
  • General Awareness - History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.
  • Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.
  • Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit &loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.
  • Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.
