Ways to become a Pilot

So, you wanna become an officer in the Armed Forces?

Let us start from tougher method to easy method and eligibility Terms and Conditions.

First of all let us start from School.

If your aim is to become an officer then a slow and steady way of working is better.

Join:

2	10-12	RMS	NDA	-do- Exams held in the 2/3 rd week of Dec every year
3	11 ½ -13	RIMC	NDA	Entrance exams are conducted once in every 6 months Jun/Dec
4	19-24	NCC C-Certificate	AF Academy	NO WRITTEN TEST- DIRECT SSB THE BEST ENTRY BOTH MALE AND FEMALE ELIGIBLE
5	19-23	CDSE	-do-	UPSC Written- SSB- Medical- Merit list
6	19-24	AFCAT	-do-	Air Force Common Admission test for all branches
7	18-24	Air Men Entry	-do-	Departmental selection via written test- interview

 Note: aspirant should have studied maths, physics, in class XII

If you want to become a pilot in Army – Then one has to become an officer and opt for flying –

This is a short cut. (NO need to qualify CDSE, AFCAT, Enter OTA via NCC “C” Certificate and become an Army Pilot

NAVY- Via, CDSE, INET. After becoming an officer in Executive branch one can become an Aviator

Coast Guard- No written test can just an interview and you make it in flying branch.

Those who have Commercial pilot license can apply without any written test only PSB and FSB

To become a civil pilot: one has to fly for 200 hours in any small aircraft and get a Commercial Pilot License. You can get trained in any flying club in India or abroad.

SC/ ST communities get Scholarship for pilot training.
