1. A truck needs 58 litres of diesel for
running 870 km distance. How many km will it go in 70 liters?
2. Cost of 3 chairs and 5 tables is Rs.4440.
If cost of one table is Rs.600, find the cost of one chair.
3. I went for shopping and took Rs. 4,500
with me. I purchased 30 m cloth at the rate of Rs.120 per m and 3 dozen
notebooks at the rate of Rs.120 per dozen. I spent Rs. 40 on taxi fare. How
much was left with me?
4. A grocer mixes 28 kg of tea costing Rs.150
per kg and 12 kg of tea costing Rs.180 per kg. Find the cos of mixer per kg.
5. The average of three numbers is 9. If the
average of first two numbers is 12, find the third number.
6. Average
score in 10 matches of a cricket player was 45.6 runs. If the average score in
first six matches was 48 runs, find the average score in last four matches.

The average temperature from Monday to Thursday was 48 degrees. The average
temp from Tuesday to Friday was 2 degree. The temperature of Monday was 42
degree. Find the temperature of Friday.

The average weight of 9 boys in a class is 42 kg. Another boy joined the class
and the new average was found to be 42.5 kg.
