How - What- Why- SSB Interview Performance Dissected for you
How - What- Why- SSB Interview Performance Dissected
for you
Hi,
SSB/ FSB Aspirants, Thousands try, but only a handful of them are RECOMMENDED
at the Services Selection Board or the Final Selection Board.
Let us now start having a Microscopic look at where all a candidate can go
wrong?
We
shall start with the Personal Information Questionnaire
we all have heard about the proverb, that; well begun is half done. So, is the
case with your PIQ. It is a Horoscope written by you
To begin with- YOU MUST PEN your details with the help of a Black Gel Pen. The reason, the black colour stands out well with the white background. A Near hand
writing steals the show.
In other words, it is your Horoscope or Janam Kundali, that will decide your the result, more often than not.
Personal information: You must now if you are
residing in a village, town, (Rural / Urban Area) its population and important
persons, their duties and position.
One
of the repeaters who had written in his hobby was quiz master, Master of
Ceremony and organizing quiz for School children was asked as follows:-
(Now,
see the questions he was asked about his city, where he lived from his birth
and till the day of the SSB.)
Well,
Subash, I see you are a quiz wizard, can you please tell me about the following
information about your city.
a)
Who founded your city, why was it named as Coimbatore?
b)
Who is the present District Collector, Police commissioner, and MP of your
constitution?
c)
What is the present population, both male and female?
d)
Which are the districts to its North, South, East, and West directions?
e)
Five important places to visit and a brief History about those places.
f)
Tell me the name of your college, when and by who was it established?
How was that for a bouncer? The Candidate got
flabbergasted and became a little nervous.
Moral
of the Story is to know as much as you can about your place of residence
Next, we move on to details about your
parents- their occupation, salary, position. This will tell the assessment
officer about your family background.
Coming to your educational
qualification starting from class X, achievements.
This gives an overview of your
academic performance
Whether you are consistent or have
faced up and down. Reasons for the same will be asked during the viva.
A sample of this information and how
does that get reflected during your interview?
Subash, I see that you had scored very
well in your class X, but you did not do so in your class XII, why.
What was the reason for the drop in
performance?
Also, tell me why you became just an
average student during your college?
Academic Achievement tells him of your
interest and intellectual level, (this is considered by Psych too- Your OIR
Test Result)

activities
Hobby and interest will pinpoint
whether you are a person who is fit for the Defence Jobs or otherwise.
