HOW TO BECOME AN OFFICER IN
INDIAN DEFENCE FORCES?


Dear Aspirants,
Based on my experience I am giving you a few Suggestions to become OFFICERs
via various entries in the armed forces

From Class VI and after Graduation
FOR SAINIK- RMS- RIMC COACHING
Suggestion:-1
  1. SAINIK SCHOOL Class VI
  2. Rashtriya Military School Class VI
  3. Rashtriya Indian Military College - Dehradun- Class VIII
  4. Sainik or RMS Class IX
Note:- There is a remote chance of getting admission in Rashtriya Military school in class XI after he completes his class X The Principal of military school can give admission in class XI,
if has vacancy, based on the class X marks and an interview
Suggestion:-2
Once the boy is in class XI ( in which ever school he may be, please prepare him for National Defence Academy- Pune) Admission after class XII

Suggestion:-3
If he performs well, ie, get well over 90 % in +2, he can try for FREE B.TECH entry in Army and Navy

Suggestion:-4
He can join the NCC in College do well in NCC and Get a C certificate with a good grading and try for Army NCC Spl Entry ( No written Test)

Suggestion:-5
After he has taken up admission in any college, during the final year he can Try for
Combined defence services examination ( UPSC- CDSE)
This is conducted twice a year. FEB and SEPTEMBER For Armyh- Navy and IAF

Suggestion:-6
In the final year He can Write AFCAT entrance to become an officer in the airforce

Suggestion:-7
If he takes up BE or B.Tech, he can try for University entry scheme right from Third Year of engineering

Suggestion:-8
After BE, he can try for direct services selection board interview, till the age of 28 years
in army, navy, iaf, coast guard, bsf, crpf, ssb, itbp

Suggestion:-9
Till the age of 42 years he can try and join the Territorial Army as an officer

Suggestion -10:
Armed forces Medical College -Pune
Take up Entrance exam via NEET- AFMC- INTERVIEW- 105 Seats per year

Suggestion:-11
( Last in order of merit) Train him up for becoming a solider/ sailor/ Airmen and once he joins he can become an officer.
There are a lot of vacancy - only applicable for serving soldiers to become an officer.


Note:- For those of you who have crossed the age of 28 years (B.E) and 25 Years for Any other under graduates
If you are employed,
TILL THE AGE OF 42 YEARS
You can join the Territorial Army as an Officer.
This is applicable only for men

The procedure is simple:-
Apply for a Pre Screening Board Written test ( held in march / aug)
Appear for a Services Selection Board InterviewAfter that a medical exam and then you will be called for training in any of the TA UNIT

Suggestion -1:

Take up Entrance exam via NEET- AFMC- INTERVIEW- 25 Seats per year

Suggestion -2:
Military Nursing Services
Direct Lieutenant after Free B.Sc Nursing Training by Army
This is after +2. Take up an entrance exam in Feb and get the admission in April


Suggestion -3:
Take up CDSE for ARMY after graduation

Suggestion-4:
NCC Special Entray- NCC C Certificate with Min A or B grade

Suggetion -5:
Take up Air Force Common Admission test after Graduate min 60 % in any graduation

Suggetion -6:
University entry Scheme while in Final year of BE

Sugestion - 7:
After BDS, direct interview to become officers in army, navy or iaf

Suggestion- 8:
After M.B.B.S- Direct Interview by Medical directorate

Suggestion- 9:
After a LAW graduation with 55% above can apply for direct SSB Interview to become an Advocate in army, navy or iaf

Suggestion-10:
After Graduation take up Staff Selection to become Asst Commandants in BSF, CRPF, ITBP,SSB

Ways to Improve yourself and raise above the common crowd “Education is not enough- Learning and experience is what going to push you to success” Jayavel Semban What do we do at school? We are asked to cram up information, Most of which we do not use in our life. What ever we experience we carry it for life. A small story is often told to differentiate between Education and learning. Once a very well educated Pandit was going on a small boat, the pandit asked the boat man, have you read Mahabharat, the Boat man said, NO Have you read Ramayan, once again the boat man said NO, the Pandit said what a waste of life? Atleast have you learned what the Vedas said, once again the Boatman said, NO, the pandit said, well you are dull and uneducated how are you going to survive? By now the boat had reached the middle of the river where the water was deep. Now the boat man asked, Pandit ji have you learned swimming? Pandit said, NO, for this the boat man said, I am sorry, there is a hole in the boat and the boat will sing soon. Save yourself if you can. Here the moral of the story, bookish education is not enough, practical education in what ever that is required to live is necessary, must and mandatory. I have read a book on You can win authored by Shiv Khera, a few points that I liked are penned down here for you to read, assimilate and then put into practice. What do we do at school?
              We are asked to cram up information, Most of which we do not use in our life. Whatever we experience we carry it for life.
