Group Testing Officer- What does he observe in the PGT ?

First of all I as a GTO observe

a) The way the candidate has dressed and presenting himself for the GTO Test

b) His cheerfulness

c) His way of expressing himself while task is in progress

d) The amount of Initiative he takes

e) The creative ideas he is able to bring out

f) Observation of the obstacle - and use of available help material to perform the task

g) His level of co-operation

h) His helping tendency

i) Observation of rules

j) Quick decision making and change of plan as and when necessary

k) Cool headeness

Our GTO has been assessing the candidates over 15 years 

He is a mentor and takes pain to explain the technique involved

Normally the following questions are being asked to the candidates who appear for the Prelim
Interview of UES

A) Tell us about yourself
B) Why are you interested to join the Defence Forces?
C) If were given a choice to join a soft ware company with 10 lakh per annum and Indian military academy what would you choose, give reasons.
D) Your girl friend says she is not interested in you joining the forces, if you do she will leave you, what would you do. ( She is adament that a BIG NO for Army/Navy/ IAF)
E) You are not selected this time and your parents are telling you to take up some job.
F) What is your opinion about Entrance Exams?
